Deltagon Group acquires new partners in the UK and Switzerland
Deltagon Group takes another step towards expanding in the international market with new partners. Switzerland is an attractive market with its banking secrecy laws, and the UK is a large market currently experiencing an ICT investment boom. The current head of sales & marketing, Jari Holmborg, sees this as a major milestone.
The head of sales & marketing of Deltagon Group, Jari Holmborg, sees the UK and Switzerland as suitable steps for the future of the company. Mr. Holmborg has extensive experience in entering international markets, gained from his position of global sales at F-Secure.
"The UK is currently experiencing a strong ICT investment boom. Just the London area with its multitude of financial, legal and media institutions represents an excellent potential market for Deltagon," says Mr. Holmborg. "In Switzerland, the strong privacy laws of the banking sector create a need for confidentiality solutions."
In addition to banking, Switzerland has several other potential market sectors such as pharmaceutical, bio-tech and ICT.
"Switzerland has a great potential market for Deltagon", says Swiss partner Hanna Kahanpää of Marvicon GmbH. "In recent years, Switzerland has had to open its market to the EU, creating many new opportunities. The Swiss economy is healthy and companies have money to invest."
London as milestone
In London, a partnership was created with ECP Ltd. "I believe our cooperation will pave way to a significant market share for a high-quality e-mail confidentiality solution," says London partner Kim Berknov. "When it comes to buying products, the British are not as patriotic as other Europeans."
Mr. Holmborg has already set his sights higher. "The UK has traditionally been the main gateway into Europe for American companies. If we are able to gain a foothold in the UK, it will create a solid base for even further internationalization."
The Deltagon D3 system is a centralized e-mail confidentiality solution, which is compatible with all common e-mail platforms. E-mail is sent securely all the way to the recipient. The recipient has no need for special softwares or encryption key exchanges.
Due to the D3 system being a centralized server, the solution is cost-efficient, easy to maintain and scalable. It has been designed to be easy to use and its use does not require additional training from staff.
