Deltagon Group offers a unique e-mail confidentiality solution for medium-sized and large organizations, enabling the sending and receiving of e-mails confidentially to any given address. It provides radically simple confidential messaging.

The regular e-mail is delivered totally unsecured through the unprotected Internet. Deltagon D3 makes possible to send confidentially e-mails between organizations. The traditional methods of protecting e-mail in workstations, on complex server systems or on difficultly maintained software are not cost-efficient. The control of decentralized software and servers is difficult and complicates the maintenance of security.

Deltagon D3 is designed for high quality and high value e-mail traffic. The D3 solution is a centralized e-mail confidentiality system which is compatible with all e-mail systems in general use. Centralization means cost savings and an easy control by the company. The system is so simple that no e-mail user training is required. If necessary, e-mails can be delivered encrypted all the way to the receiver's desktop, and the recipient of encrypted e-mail will no longer need separate encryption programs, keys or passwords.

The Deltagon D3 server allows the secure delivery of an e-mail message directly to the recipient's desktop by using the so-called e-mail envelope method. According to the method, the SMTP e-mail message is encrypted and temporarily saved on the router and a link which can be used to fetch the message from the server is sent to the receiver. This unique and patented message lock technology avoids complicated authentication systems normally used in encryption.

An additional authentication requirement can be set for the recipient of an e-mail message. Deltagon D3 is able to send the SMS messages to the mobile phone through the SMS interface either by using integrated SMS modem, by using the customer's already existing SMS service, or by using a separate commercial service.
